Family Lake House Retreat

This classic Nantucket-inspired retreat on Lake Norman aligns with the client's passion for boating and entertaining. They wanted a home with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces showcasing the family's history growing up on a lake. With this in mind, we designed a stunning open-air veranda featuring a collection of their boating artifacts that effortlessly bring the conversation pit to life. Our clients love nighttime entertaining so we created a nested outdoor fire pit area and bright lighting throughout the property. Our talented team knew the boat dock had to be extraordinary. We designed it to be consistent with the house featuring arched windows and a roof design to complement the home. The end of the dock also features a beautiful lounge space to take in the view and continue the entertaining experience whether it is mid-afternoon or time to gaze upon the stars.
